Garcinia cambogia fruit contains hydroxycitric acid (HCA), an organic acid that supports metabolic and neurochemical pathways involved in weight management, including promoting satiety, enhancing fat oxidation, and inhibiting excess fatty acid synthesis (Semwal et al., 2015).
