KEY ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

Glucosamine Sulfate & Chondroitin Sulfate
Glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate are amino sugar– and glycosaminoglycan‑derived compounds incorporated into the proteoglycans that make up articular cartilage and synovial fluid, where together they help maintain joint structure, cushioning, and lubrication (de los Reyes et al., 2000). Administration of glucosamine sulfate at 1,500 mg/day, often in combination with chondroitin sulfate in clinical practice, has been shown in randomized, placebo‑controlled trials and umbrella reviews to reduce knee osteoarthritis pain, improve stiffness and functional indices, and slow joint‑space narrowing, with an excellent safety profile comparable to placebo (Herrero‑Beaumont et al., 2007; Giordano, 2009; Veronese et al., 2020; Hathcock and Shao, 2007). In healthy overweight adults, daily supplementation with glucosamine plus chondroitin significantly lowered high‑sensitivity C‑reactive protein and downregulated cytokine‑related inflammatory pathways relative to placebo, supporting a role for glucosamine–chondroitin formulas in modulating low‑grade systemic inflammation that can affect joint comfort and long‑term joint health (Navarro et al., 2015).*

Boswellia serrata
Boswellia serrata, commonly known as Indian frankincense, provides boswellic acids that selectively inhibit 5‑lipoxygenase and modulate NF‑κB–driven inflammatory pathways, helping to dampen leukotriene‑mediated joint inflammation (Mahto et al., 2025). Randomized, double‑blind trials and recent meta‑analyses indicate that standardized B. serrata extracts can reduce osteoarthritis‑related pain and stiffness and improve joint function with a generally favorable safety profile, supporting their use as a complementary option to help maintain joint comfort and flexibility (Kimmatkar et al., 2003; Yu et al., 2020; Majeed et al., 2019).*

Tumeric Root (Curcuma Longa)
Turmeric root extract is rich in curcuminoids, particularly curcumin, polyphenolic compounds that act as potent antioxidants and help modulate immune pathways throughout the body (Hewlings & Kalman, 2017). Systematic reviews and meta-analyses of randomized clinical trials further suggest that turmeric and curcumin supplementation can be effective adjuvants for musculoskeletal health, with improvements in joint discomfort, physical function, and markers of inflammation and muscle recovery, supporting joint comfort and everyday mobility (Doyle et al., 2023; Hewlings & Kalman, 2017).*
